Sync your Google Address Book with Thunderbird

Do you use Thunderbird and GoogleMail? Where do you organize your contacts? In both applications? That’s a mess. You can sync contacts with an extension from Thunderbird and GMail. So that you have all contacts in both application at the same time. The extension is smart enough to detext GMail accounts which you already set up in Thunderbird. The sync process is bi-directional and the setup is quite easy. The advantage of bi-directional synchronizing is, that every change you take in your contacts, whether it is in google or in thunderbird, will automatically be synchronized to the other party. So get the extension here and keep your Google data synchronized. [via]
